We tend to categorise our products in two ways although there can be a cross over.
First, Lighting; which we consider to be products which will illuminate an area. This includes task lighting, room lighting and exterior lighting. The light itself is, therefore, not the feature.
This includes flood/spot lights and fluorescent tube & bulb replacements. Our white lighting is LED based and extremely energy efficient at up to 90lm/W efficacy.
The Carbon TrustEarlsmann are listed by the Carbon Trust. Our white LED lighting is highly energy efficient so businesses may be eligible for Interest Free Carbon Trust loans. Please contact us for a free survey and advice. We will be pleased to advise and assist in making a claim.
Second, Illumination; which we consider to be products that are likely to be seen directly or to create an effect, a glow perhaps. In other words, the light or the effect is the feature.

Illuminated shelving which is available in single colour or colour changing.
Neon-Flex which is an excellent alternative to neon.
LumaPex light boxes are (typically) only 12mm thick and can be up to 1500mm square providing an even light source for display and illumination of images.

Specifying lighting is becoming more and more complex with LED, Halogen, Metal Halide, Fluorescent and CFL to choose from. Many claims are made as to which is best but ultimately, nowadays, they need to be capable of producing the required amount of light with the minimum waste CO2 being created.
