Q - Tell me about the suppliers
 
A - We specialise in supplying products from smaller companies, often without their own internet trading enabling them to compete with the major brands and to bring you some of the best products available.They are all independent companies.  As far as is possible, they are all checked for the quality of their products and/or service.
 
Q - What happens if a product is no longer available?
 
A - From time to time products become unavailable.  With such a wide range it is not always possible for us to keep track of this.  If you place an order which we cannot fulfil we will, where possible, offer an alternative.  If not, we will cancel your order. See also "When do I pay for my goods?"
 
Q - What about delivery?
 
A - Product is shipped by each of our suppliers so your order may be delivered in several packages.
 
Q - What about stock?
 
A - Most product is available from stock at our suppliers.  Where a lead time is involved, e.g. when a product is being made to order, this should be noted on the description of the product.  if it isn't, please let us know.
 
Q - When do I pay for my goods?
 
A - Payment is authorised when you place your order but will only be debited from your account once your goods are on their way.
 
Q - I have a problem with quality, delivery, damage.  What do I do?
 
A - In the first instance, contact us.  We will ensure the issue is resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
 
Q - I have a complaint about a supplier.  What do I do?
 
A - In the first instance contact us.  We want to know about every problem so it can be rectified.  Any supplier who does not meet our high standards will be removed. 
 
Q - I'm having a problem paying at checkout.  Why is this?
 
A - We use the PROTX payment gateway with 3D secure implimented.  This is the latest measure put in place by the banks to help prevent fraud.  This allows you to place an order with a delivery address different from where the card is registered.  The first time you use the service you will be asked to enter some information which is only known to you and will held secure by your bank.  Thereafter it should be easy.  These measures are good for all of us and help protect you and us from fraud.  Please let us know if the problems persist.
 
Q - Why do some items show VAT whilst others don't?
 
A - Some items are zero rated e.g. children's clothing, food so VAT isn't charged.  In some cases My Shop on the Web buys product and resells it.  This is to provide an overall good shopping experience.  For these products we have to charge VAT and will provide you with a VAT invoice, if required.  When we are supplying products from all our other suppliers who simply use our store, they are responsible for providing you with an invoice.
 
Q - Tell me about the packaging.
 
A - Goods may not always be shipped in new packaging.  This may simply be that specific packaging is not available for the items you ordered.  However, recycling of packaging is good for th environment.
